Italy- Early 1970’s, Marco and Massimo Barbaranelli, two young brothers and entrepreneurs at heart, decided to start selling Italian products.
1972
Beginning of Eurimpex activities as Italian manufacturers’ representative on the African market.
1981
Eurimpex establishment in the Principality of Monaco, as intermediary agent for stationery manufacturers. French market development.
1985
Outbreak into retail chains and first private label stationery products development.
1998
Creation of our logistics platform Multilox.
2001
M.D.D. (Monégasque de Distribution) S.A.M. founding for the import-export activities.
2010
SMQ Implementation, our Quality Management System.
2016
Alessandro Barbaranelli becomes Managing Director.
Our attachment to the Principality
Already in the Lower Palaeolithic, 300,000 years ago, our ancestors had found Monaco to their liking. This craze has not faded since!
Inserted in the heart of the Riviera, the Principality has been governed since 1297 by the Grimaldi Family. Today, St. Albert II and his wife, Princess Charlene, embody the stability of a flourishing economic and financial center.
The glamorous image of the Principality should not overshadow its importance in the economic fabric of the region. The Principality employs more than 50,000 employees who testify to the good corporate health of the Monegasque territory.
The Fontvieille district where our premises are located was built over the sea in 1971. It is the most industrial part of Monaco, also famous for its Stadium and sports facilities.
Our 1000 square meters offices are located at the Thalès. Overlooking the sea and bathed in light, they are part of a set of several buildings with workshops and offices.
The future commitments of our Prince in terms of economic development and environment still bode well for the Principality. As a Monegasque company, we wish to be involved in these projects.
